The Solar Living Center is Evolving into EcoTerra Center!

The rebranding from Solar Living Center to EcoTerra Center reflects continued growth towards making our 12-acre permaculture oasis a destination for tourists and locals alike. EcoTerra will continue to host educational workshops and hands-on trainings on all things sustainable, as well as creative interpretive displays and wellness retreats and other events. It will still be a retreat where you can delight your senses and animate your curiosity with our solar-powered demonstrations and experiments, fascinating nature displays, and eco-lodging accommodations built from earth-friendly materials. And it will still be a sanctuary where kids will be inspired to leave screen time behind to roam and play as in bygone days while you enjoy a rich bounty of local, organically grown food, wines, brews and cannabis.

Celebrations are a major part of the fabric of the bucolic grounds of the EcoTerra Center. Featuring a newly renovated Great Hall, EcoTerra is a multi-faceted event space for weddings or community, family and business gatherings.

While you're here, take a piece of EcoTerra home with you by shopping the world-famous Real Goods eco-store, which sold the very first solar panel in the U.S. 40 years ago, and remains the original and most experienced solar and off-grid living provider, chock-full of renewable energy tech, energy-efficient gadgets, and hand-crafted gifts made by artisans.

EcoTerra Center is a utopia of renewal, regeneration, and relaxation. Welcome. Come and turn your newfound inspiration into action at our little piece of heaven in Mendocino County. Visit with us and take a step off the grid.

Upcoming EcoTerra Event: Savour Mendocino

We'll be hosting "Savour Mendocino" on Saturday, November 10. Part of the Feast Mendocino event series, Savour Mendocino is a chance to sample and learn about Mendocino County's best mushrooms as you wander our beautiful permaculture grounds. But it's more than mushrooms - local wine, spirits, and other snacks will be available as well.
