Dan Antonioli

Dan Antonioli is a seasoned green builder, general contractor, and ecological designer. Founder of the 611 Ecovillage in Oakland and the Laytonville Ecovillage, he has a passionate vision for sustainability and a sustainable future. He helped organize and attended a two week permaculture design course at the Laytonville Ecovillage in 2009 and has been applying permaculture principles and systems in most of his work, both urban and rural. His current focus is on moving the Laytonville Ecovillage to the next level of sustainability and community using permaculture as one of the guiding design tools.


The Solar Living Institute is a 501 (c)(3) educational nonprofit organization offering instruction in solar training and sustainable practices.  Founded in 1998, we have been providing professional solar training and a wide array of sustainability courses for 20 years. Our courses are taught by experienced practitioners who bring years of real world knowledge to the classroom with a focus on helping students prepare for job opportunities, start businesses, and live more sustainably.
