Center for Employment Training

The Solar Living Institute provided an intensive Train the Trainer Solar PV session for 48 building instructors of the national Center for Employment Training (CET) vocational schools. Starting with its headquarters in San Jose, CET plans to add Solar Photovoltaic Design & Installation to its green building programs.

CET has 22 centers across the U.S. with one of the highest rates of job placement for thousands of workers, a majority of whom are youth and adults with significant employment barriers, including public assistance recipients, homeless, at-risk youth, dislocated workers, migrant & seasonal farm workers, and other unemployed persons.
