Uniquely taught by and for women, our women’s workshops are consistently requested by students looking for a supportive learning environment. This one-day workshop covers the basics of renewable energy, including:

• Renewable energy sources—such as solar, wind, geothermal, and biomass
• Passive solar design
• Energy conservation and efficiency
• Fuel cells and alternative fuels
• How to use the sun’s energy for: cooking, water heating, water pumping, and distillation
