During this intensive, five-day clinic you will learn about the science and technology behind EVs and gain hands-on experience with different forms of electric transport (i.e. scooters, motorcycles and cars) to help prepare you to build your own electric vehicle.

Course topics include:

•  Energy efficiency related to electric vehicles (EVs) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs)
• Using renewable energy for clean transportation
• EV component choices, including motors, controllers, batteries, etc.
• The design process in building or converting an electric vehicle
• Support and maintenance issues for EVs
