SL 191: Intro to Herbal Medicine

You will learn to use local plants as medicine through training in:

• cultivation techniques

• wild harvesting

• plant identification

• ecological and social issues relating to medicinal plant use

• medicine making

• dosage and safety

• much more!

The class will harvest medicinal plants from the Solar Living Institute's garden, and wild plants from nearby land. There will be a hands-on herbal medicine making session where you will learn to hand-craft these gathered plants into tinctures, teas and salves.
