Huffman to Visit Real Goods and Solar Living Institute, Recognize Conservation Efforts

Washington—Congressman Jared Huffman (D-San Rafael) will tour Real Goods and the Solar Living Institute in Hopland, California on May 30 at 10:00 a.m. and recognize their conservation efforts. Huffman will present Real Goods and the Solar Living Institute with his Sustainable North Coast certificate in recognition of their work championing renewable energy and sustainable living.

Get ready for Camp Solar

This Summer we will be putting the sun to work baking, making and racing... Over 3 mornings we invite 7-11 year olds to join us at the Solar Living Center to get chance to make a sculpture from natural building materials, build a solar clock and try your hand at making some potions in our garden maze! Suitable for 7-11 year olds. Please bring a brown bag lunch and snack.

As the lead organizational staff, this person oversees and manages all organizational activities and works closely with staff and board to accomplish organizational goals. The Solar Living Institute seeks an Executive Director who will embrace path-breaking innovations and take the lead in collaboratively implementing the program. The Executive Director will help build a nonprofit organization growing larger regionally and nationally.
